Hello my dear students

My dear students

My heart hurt when I heard about the earthquake in Sichuan. And immediately I thought of all of you and the students I have taught in PEL.

Are any of you from Sichuan, are your families alright??

I am sorry I have not written in the blog, I have been so busy with marking and tests and all the other work. How have you been . I am so very happy for those of you who have joined the Campus Crusade and have been reading the Bible...I know you have found the Peace and Joy that no one else can give. We have hope now and God to answer our every prayer and to protect us.

Take care of yourself

With Love

A story to share...

Dear Students

Someone sent me this story. I thought I would share with you. It has a lot of meaning. Enjoy !

During World War II, a US marine was separated from his unit on aPacific island. The fighting had been intense, and in the smoke and the crossfire he had lost touch with his comrades.Alone in the jungle, he could hear enemy soldiers coming in hisdirection. Scrambling for cover, he found his way up a high ridge toseveral small caves in the rock. Quickly he crawled inside one of thecaves.Although safe for the moment, he realized that once the enemy soldiers looking for him swept up the ridge, they would quickly search all thecaves and he would be killed. As he waited, he prayed,Lord, if it be your will, please protect me. Whatever your willthough, I love you and trust you. Amen. After praying, he lay quietly listening to the enemy begin to drawclose. He thought, well, I guess the Lord isn't going to help me outof this one.

Then he saw a spider begin to build a web over the front of his cave.As he watched, listening to the enemy searching for him all the while, the spider layered strand after strand of web across the opening ofthe cave.Hah, he thought. What I need is a brick wall and what the Lord has sent me is a spider web. God does have a sense of humor.

As the enemy drew closer he watched from the darkness of his hideoutand could see them searching one cave after another. As they came tohis, he got ready to make his last stand. To his amazement, however, after glancing in the direction of his cave, they moved on.Suddenly, he realized that with the spider web over the entrance, hiscave looked as if no one had entered for quite a while.Lord, forgive me, prayed the young man. I had forgotten that in you aspider's web is stronger than a brick wall.

We all face times of great trouble. When we do, it is so easy toforget the victories that God would work in our lives, sometimes inthe most surprising ways.Remember: Whatever is happening in your life, with God, a mere spidersweb can become a brick wall of protection. Believe He is with youalways and you will see His great power and love for you.

Have an awesome day, and know that someone who thinks you're great has and has thought about you today!

I am thinking of all of you... Take care !

I MISS you all

my dear students

You all make me cry reading your comments. I MIss you all too, no more daughters to look after me. My daughter is fine and fully recovered. I am the one, sick now! I am losing my voice and coughing badly... I am drinking a lot of water and taking things easy.

I am very happy to learn that all of you are adjusting well.. keep on going and enjoying yourself!
Remember to study but must also make time for relaxation ok? Look after yourself and don't get sick.

Liu lei, the food was delicious, I enjoyed the ziao zi very much and everything else, I ate it at different timing, you are really a good cook!! Thank you so much for thinking and caring for me.

Make as many friends as you can, don;t be shy. Speak slower and they will understand you. Talk about how they feel, what you enjoy doing, ask them about their lives and what they enjoy doing. keep writing your thoughts, it helps your English. I will write often to. Take care
